Our Story
Since 2000, Custom Guitar Atelier has been dedicated to custom guitar craftsmanship, helping musicians create, restore, modify, and refine instruments that reflect their individual style, sound, and playing requirements.
From custom builds and restorations to upgrades, setups, modifications, and refinishing, every project is approached with precision, careful attention to detail, and respect for the instrument and the musician who will play it.
Premium Materials & Components
A custom instrument begins with the right materials. Depending on the model and customer-selected specifications, our builds may feature carefully selected premium tonewoods sourced from Japan and Korea.
We also offer selected hardware, pickups, electronics, bridges, tremolos, machine heads, and other components from respected manufacturers in the USA, Japan, Germany, and Korea.
Our Buy With Confidence Commitment
Every custom instrument is built according to the customer’s confirmed specifications and undergoes a comprehensive multi-point quality inspection, final setup, playability review, electronics testing, hardware inspection, and functional testing before shipment.
Our goal is not simply to create an instrument that looks distinctive. We want every guitar and bass to leave production carefully inspected, properly set up, and ready to become part of the musician’s creative journey.
Built Around the Player
We believe a guitar is more than wood, hardware, electronics, and strings. Over time, an instrument becomes part of a musician’s identity, performance, creativity, and personal story.
That is why we take pride in creating instruments that are personal, dependable, visually distinctive, and inspiring to play.

Yes. Most of our custom guitars and basses can be built in either right-handed or left-handed orientation.
When placing your order, simply select your preferred Dexterity where available. If the option is not shown on a particular product page, please indicate Left-Handed in the Customization Requirements section, and our production team will review the configuration before production.
Because some body shapes, bridges, hardware, control layouts, and other components may require specific left-handed versions, availability can vary depending on the model and selected specifications.
If you are interested in a particular guitar or bass and would like to confirm whether it can be built left-handed, please contact us with the product link and we will be happy to check it for you.
